It is a priority for the Azumah Nelson Foundation (ANF) to provide access to critical developmental programs. Youth will be encouraged to explore their interests and career aspirations in an inspiring and supportive environment.

Achieving goals and reaching dreams is the focus of our nationwide character and continental vision development program. The Foundation will give youth the mentoring for a brighter future.

What ANF is starting out with limited resources in Ghana, will ultimately be extended to the youth of Africa.

In simultaneous planning to the construction of the Academy’s facility, street clinics, street festivals, sporting camps and other activities will be organized to engage and identify prospective candidates to prelude admission of entrants into the Academy.

Street Clinics: Single day of organized multisport events that are run at various locations throughout the city. Street camps are geared towards street children under the age of 12 and include introductory teaching of basic skills and rules of  games and purposefully designed math and reading (aptitude) lessons to round it of.

Street Cups: Single day mini sports tournament for street children who previously attended a Street Camp.  These events culminate a series of Street Camps in a given area of the city.

Street Festival: This is a single day event capping off the season of Street Camps and Street Cups. There will be special events such as exhibition soccer & boxing matches by professional or famous persons; food, drinks, awards, games, and of course small sided pick up matches and quizzes for the kids.

Sport Camps: A week or fortnight of organised multisport camps will be open to children particularly in the rural areas following the same format as those run in the city. These activities we believe will prepare the participating children to be in the right frame of mind as selection targets to begin registration for admission to the Academy.
