Azumah Nelson Foundation is a not-for-profit organization in Ghana registered in 2004. The foundation has been founded under the inspiration and direction of the well known and celebrated Ghanaian boxer Azumah Nelson. Azumah Nelson has been widely noted for his warm heart and philanthropy. Organizations which have benefited from his assistance include Osu Childrenâ€™s Home, SOS Village Tema, Akropong School for the Blind and Dzorwulu Special School for the disabled. In addition to his support for these special purpose institutions for the deprived, disadvantaged and physically impaired, many needy individuals have benefited from the generosity of this great believer in and practitioner of charity.
The Azumah Nelson Foundation represents a new initiative of the boxing legend to take his concern for needy and deprived children to prospective heights, championing the cause that will help provide the appropriate infrastructure and services which are required to mentor the youth and guarantee them a brighter future.
MISSION AND VISION: To reduce poverty through positive mentorship of the youth into self-supporting, productive and well motivated adults using the power of education and sports.

GOAL: Advance the moral, psychological, physical and career development of the needy and deprived youth of Ghana and ultimately Africa.Â
OBJECTIVE: The objective of â€˜ANFâ€™ is to build the Azumah Nelson Foundation Academy; a centre of youth training and learning that offers functional education and effective personal development programs for needy and deprived children aged between 5 and 18.Â
